I enjoyed your photos. :) I'm biased, due to my fiance being one of the men dressed in body armor saying "police" on it. I feel they were very well-behaved and treated the protesters very fairly, from what I got to see via news coverage. I think that it could have been much worse on both sides, police and protesters. I, however, being a native Pittsburgher, do not appreciate the damage done to my old neighborhood of East Liberty/Bloomfield/etc. Those stores had nothing to do with those leaders being here. If the protesters don't like the way we do things here in America, the way we've done them for over 233 years, they can go live somewhere else. Is it really that bad here that we have to have cowards hiding their faces because they think "The Man" is going to hunt them down for peaceably assembling? They're hiding because they're up-to-no-good. Just some reflections from a homegrown 'Burgher. ~smooches!~ Keep up the fabulous photography, E.H.!! <3 K.M.S.
Hi Erica! This is Shannon (Amy's Friend-we were in her wedding together). Great photography. It looks like things got a little hairy. I have to agree with the comments from the person who's fiance is a police officer.

ReplyDeleteAnarchist's assemble? heh. The photos with the orange gas stuff are my favorites. The composition is bananas.

look at those brave men and women out there!! The anarchists, not the pigs ;))
ReplyDeleteI agree those men and women are brave, and not the fatass wusses in suits of armor, but armor equivalent to a tank.
